Community Gardens

Community Gardens are a fantastic spaces that enhance the local ecosystem and biodiversity, and support your mental and physical health and wellbeing. Spending time in nature improves sleep and reduces stress.
There are many local community gardens and projects that you can get involved with. They are often looking for new volunteers and have visiting hours. There are some centre residents that regularly visit local community gardens, ask around or enquire with a BRIJ volunteer to find out more.
Community Gardens are also a fantastic way to meet and integrate with members of the local community.
