If you’re of school going age, speak to your school guidance counsellor.
If you’re an adult, first explore your options to help you decide what subject area and type of course you’d like to study. Speak to as many people as possible to make an informed decision.
You may wish to undertake a part-time or evening course, or a year long course. This is a good idea to be certain of your subject choice, and help strengthen future applications.
If you wish to study at third level, you may be eligible for a Sanctuary Scholarship to study an undergraduate degree (three to four years) at university. You may also be eligible for SUSI.
There are many gyms in Cork City which have a fee associated with them.
There are also many sports clubs in Cork City, search online for one with your chosen sport. There is a fee associated with all sports clubs, but many provide subsidised memberships for relevant circumstances.

There are many public parks where you can bring a ball, go for walks or runs, and use the public fitness equipment, all for free. For example, Ballincollig Regional Park has basketball courts, fields, skate park, and exercise machines and is accessible by the 220 bus.
The HSE Social Worker associated with your centre will be able to connect you with a GP. Ask your centre manager for support.

If you are successful your international protection application, you may apply for family reunification. This must be done within 12 months of being granted refugee status and both you and your family must meet the criteria. Nasc are available to support you in your application.
