If you are living in Cork City, much of the city is accessible by foot. If you require to travel further distances, the bus is usually the best option. Some areas are also accessible by train.
Bus Eireann accept cash and leap cards. It is most economical to use a leap card, as the fares are cheaper than the cash fare. Standard adult and child leap cards are available to purchase in TFI Leap agents and young adult and student cards are available to purchase online. Click here to learn more.
Speak to your centre manager if you require transportation for medical appointments.
The HSE Social Worker associated with your centre will be able to connect you with a GP. Ask your centre manager for support.

If you are successful your international protection application, you may apply for family reunification. This must be done within 12 months of being granted refugee status and both you and your family must meet the criteria. Nasc are available to support you in your application.
